Benefits Of Remy Human Hair

By Edward Bennett

If there is one thing everyone knows they should not mess with when it comes to a woman, it has got to be her hair. Women invest so much time and money to make sure that their locks look amazing at all times. One of the ways they achieve this is by adding extensions to their locks that make it look much longer and stunning. The most common extensions used these days to get that desired effect are Remy Human Hair.

There are three different types of extensions made of human hair and Remy is one of them. It is not the best nor the worst of the three different types but it is superb quality and though it may be somewhat expensive, it does last long. It is the most preferred of the three because it is affordable and lasts long.

The effect you want when you get your locks done is to look stunning. The last thing you want is curious glances trying to figure out if it is actually your hair or not and wondering why it is not toning. You want to be admired, period. But this is not possible when people look at your locks and find faults in it no matter how well it has been styled.

The other type of extension is known as non-Remy. These are extensions made from actual human locks but they are not collected suitably. They are normally collected from the floors of temples, salons and barber shops. They are then put together are processed.

This is not to say that Remy extensions are cheap. They may be cheaper than the virgin but they do go for a pretty penny. This makes some buyers go for different types of extensions such as synthetic or non-Remy human extensions as long as they get the desired look. It may seem as a cheaper option but in reality it is expensive.

When choosing extensions, it is important to pay attention to the labels and information given on the products. You need to ensure that the extensions are from a reputable company. Since the hair is human, you want it collected ethically. The only way to ascertain this is by going for a company with a reputation that precedes itself.

The only difference from virgin extensions is that Remy extensions have been chemically processed at one point or another. So as much as they are gotten from a virgin donor, the tresses are not virgin. When being processed for extensions, they are normally mixed together and put through different treatments apart from silicon. The extensions do not require silicon because all the cuticles were left intact allowing the extensions to last up to a year.

This in turn makes the extensions weak and unable to last long. Remy extensions are supposed to last up to a year. If its processing was not done properly, it will start to tangle and matte after a few washes making it an unnecessary expense. So to get extensions that last long and are of good quality, make sure you buy from a reputable company.
