ALS & Its Symptoms With Stuart Millheiser

By Michael Robert Peterson

There's no denying the physical impact that ALS can have. Anyone who has observed this condition, in the medical field, can say the same. Even though research is continuously done, in this field, it's clear that there exist several symptoms, which the likes of Stuart Millheiser can tell you all about. For a better understanding of this condition, as well as a greater level of healing that may not have been done otherwise, keep these points in mind.

If you want to talk about the symptoms of ALS - and Stuart Millheiser can tell you all about them - discomfort is a pretty common one to address. People who start to develop this condition may experience discomfort in the feet and legs, which understandably renders movement more of a task than it should be. With that said, even with other symptoms to account for, I believe that this is one of those which will be observed at the onset.

Over the course of time, cramps may develop, which is an even more serious case that Stu Millheiser can tell you about. For example, you may be doing something as simple as pouring a glass of orange juice, only for your arm to switch and the beverage in question to spill all over. These twitches are difficult to control - if not downright impossible - and they become more commonplace as time goes on. Suffice it to say, they make mundane efforts needlessly difficult.

Finally, someone who suffers from ALS may be hindered by slurred speech. Even speaking a simple sentence can be troublesome, not only for you from a phonetic standpoint but others who may struggle to receive the message. This is perhaps the most troublesome symptom, as speech is one of the main ways in which we communicate. It helps us build relationships, and it allows us to get a better understanding of the characters we possess.

ALS is serious condition, to say the least, and it's not out of the question for people to ask about treatment methods. While there isn't much that can be been brought up scientifically, many medical specialists recommend the utilization of Rilutek. For those who do not know, this is a type of drug that has been able to slow the progression of the condition in question. Along with the potential reduction of the severity associated with the aforementioned symptoms, it's worth asking your doctor about.
