The test is the last step that one takes in order to start a career in esthetics. Only those who pass get awarded a state license. There is an authorized board that evaluates aspiring estheticians and grants them licenses based on performance.

There are two nationally recognized exams administered by the board. These are the written and practical tests. In most states, it is mandatory for one to pass either of the two in order to be licensed. For this reason, effective preparation should be enough to help you pass with flying colors.

Candidates are always required to register their details before taking their tests. One may do this by contacting the board directly or by using a third party. In case you choose to register using a third party, make sure it has the right credentials to offer registration services.
